Our body and mind
Do we life in our body, is the core of us, an eternal soul, that rest is this body for this life time - until our body dies and our soul is set free?
Our shared human history tells us many stories about who we are and how our body and mind relate and work best together. One of the most influential story about our body and mind comes from science today. Sciences created endless and growing knowledge about how our body works, but it has little of this hard knowledge about our mind and how our mind works together with our body. Our mind stays somewhat invisible and our bodies became the central reality in our scientific world views.
The fundamental truth about our body and mind is that the separation of those in 2 fundamental parts is a creation of our mind. There is one reality and everything is grounded in this one reality, our body and mind are one creation, one organism.
Science is not meant to tell us stories, it gives us scientific models that explain a part of what is scientific provable and known. Everything outside this model, today proven and known is not by default wrong or false, it might just is not be explainable with this model and/or proven today.

Our mind is very good at filling those gaps, we always fill unknowns with patterns from things we already know. Knowing things creates a state a being save and secure. Knowledge is power. Accepting blind spots and our limits of knowing and power is a very personal, emotional challenge.
Many stories we know about body and mind are religious and so we associate the basic reality as a human being with one body and mind as if it is a religious, esoteric belief. So many of us life in a reality where our body and mind, our mental health are separate realities. There is not a single scientific proof for this believe, but many of us believe in it as if it is a scientific fact.
We must not forgot how much we don't know and can not explain. Life is a mystery and being a life is a gift given to each of us - we don't know how and why we received this gift of all gifts.
