Mental Health, our purpose and hero journey

Mental Health is everywhere, as an very personal concern and crisis of our times and in our lives. And it is everyone as an topic we read and learn about every day.

We want to empower everyone on their journey and at times struggle with our mental health. We believe that it is at the heart of our life and becoming who we are is a central part of our life long journey.

What we call mental health today, is the age old struggle of every human to live a life of sense and purpose, to explore and discover what it means to be fully alive and human. This search of meaning is at the heart of what it means to be a human, to be alive and conscious, to life with a free will and awaked mind.

Outside in approaches, from Brain science, to Medicine and Psychiatry

One path of building understanding and knowledge is going bottom up, looking at brain scans, hormones, brain regions and building an understanding from this many different parts of ourselves. Its is a 'rational', outside in approach that does not build on our own experience as a human. Psychiatry and symptom based mental illness classification is the most relevant discipline in the context of our own mental health and the studies and tools you will find on thi platform.

Depression, Anxiety, Borderline, Autism, ADS - the list of mental illnesses is long and growing, and the influence they play in our process of sense making is growing. With this growing influence, we want to give everyone the best tools to directly understand how they translate to our personal reality.

Psychology, and sense making based on our inner world and experiences

A different approach is to work with our inner experience and build models of our symbolic understanding of the world and helps us navigate and make sense in it. How do we feel, what strategies have we learned? How does our childhood influence our lives today, how did trauma shape our everyday reality and most important relationships?

Starting with Freud and Psychoanalysis, this tradition is the most common and intimate approach to deal with our mental challenges.

Philosophy, our Purpose and God

When it comes to our the many traditions about how to life a healthy and purposeful life, we have so many of those and they are in part deeply woven into our culture, family and ourselves. If we can learn one thing from the many traditions, humans and cultures that lived before us and their plentiful wisdom - it is how essential, human and almighty this search for meaning is we are in. A path that will change yourself and your life profound and lasting, an true adventure and hero journey of dying and becoming.

Our personal sense making and synthesis

Each discipline and approach helps us build knowledge and tools to life a healthy and purposeful life. It is on us to build a complete and whole understanding from all those different disciplines and models, and most important to find our path to what makes sense and helps us bring the change we seek.

“If there is meaning in life at all, then there must be meaning in suffering.”
